These units are a modernized version of the Soviet ПНВ57Е (PNV57E) . They run on a 9v battery and come with a Norotos Rhino, ready to be mounted to a shroud. They also include quick flip caps.
They are gen 1++ or gen 2 with fisheye, but a very clear zone 1 and no illumination is required. All of the sample pictures are ambient light only and no extra illumination.
We don't want to mislead anyone, these aren't as good as gen 3 dual tubes but for a fraction of the cost, they are unparalleled as far as entry level military grade night vision goes.
We used to offer multiple colors, but painting and drying was too much hassle and took too much time so these come in the original olive drab color. We recommend buying vinyl wrap material from Amazon or eBay, you can find just about any camo pattern in existence, and cutting wraps for them. If you don't want to do that or paint them yourself, email us and we can work something out.
